Silent but bright
The night sky set ablaze
A fire rages in the heavens
The world stops turning
Chaos ensues
Eyes to the sky, staring
As the fire rains down upon them
They stand there waiting
Their fate is inevitable
Slowly but surely
All their hopes die
As the stars die
Falling from the great unknown
Their last embers burn
